Programme:

The junior heavies begin at 11am

Highland dancing events start at 11am

The bands will play in the village square at 12noon

The official opening is at 1pm marked by the procession of the Games committee and marching bands at the Public Park

Senior heavies and lights start at 1pm

The hill race starts at 3pm 

Events are finished by 5pm

Children's fancy dress in the village square at 7pm

Dance in the Memorial Hall at 9pm

Entrance to the Games costs:

£8    per adult

£3    per child (under 14)

FREE child under 5

£20  Family (2 adults + 2 children)

We have facilities for people to pay by credit card, but in case of technical difficulties please be prepared to pay with cash

Car parking is available in the neighbouring field and is free (though there is no space for buses or coaches)

*Dancers' entry fees are included in their competition costs

*All other competitors must pay the entry fee, which permits entrance to all competition (except the dancing)

Facilities:

There are a number of different options for refreshments in the Public Park ranging from burgers to candyfloss

Toilet facilities are available in the Games park


At the end of theGames, local children are invited to participate in a fancy dress parade in the village square. After the sporting and cultural excitement you can enjoy a meal in the village [booking in advance is highly recommended!] and even attend the village dance in the evening
